Why It Matters

A well-informed, highly skilled workforce entices companies to come to our state and create jobs for our citizens. Our training programs have helped individuals get the training and credentials they need to hit the ground running in this industry. We have also trained many of North Carolina’s collegiate instructors who, in turn, offer local training programs that are affordable and accessible to others in their communities.

The NABCEP Registered training program strives to provide comprehensive, high-quality classroom and hands-on learning in technology, policy and business topics to grow a sustainable and robust renewable energy and energy efficiency industry in North Carolina and beyond.

          

Services

We offer online and in-person workshops and programs that range from short, certificate classes to our in-depth Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series. These programs cover the technical and financial side of clean energy. We also work with educational institutions and companies directly to create training programs that are specific to their needs and schedules.

Whether you’re an industry pro or just starting out, we offer programs that range from short workshops to week-long courses. The Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series is a non-degree diploma from N.C. State University made up of a series of workshops that focus on various renewable technologies. Students select courses that match their interests. In order to earn the continuing education diploma from N.C. State University’s NCCETC, participants complete 120 contact hours to gain a comprehensive knowledge base.

If you are interested in the policy, technology, and management aspects of renewable energy, the Certificate in Renewable Energy Management is a 40 + hour program that provides a solid foundation. Course modules instruct students on how existing renewable energy technologies work and how current policies and financial options impact project management. Find Your Path and Earn a Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma from the NCCETC Training Program

The Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series gives the participant a depth and breadth of knowledge needed to be successful in this industry. Earn 120 contact hours, or three 40-hour certificate courses to complete this non-degree program. Continuing education credits for different professionals are available.
