The NABCEP Registered training program strives to provide comprehensive, high-quality classroom and hands-on learning in technology, policy and business topics to grow a sustainable and robust renewable energy and energy efficiency industry in North Carolina and beyond.
A well-informed, highly skilled workforce entices companies to come to our state and create jobs for our citizens. Our training programs have helped individuals get the training and credentials they need to hit the ground running in this industry. We have also trained many of North Carolina’s collegiate instructors who, in turn, offer local training programs that are affordable and accessible to others in their communities.
We offer online and in-person workshops and programs that range from short, certificate classes to our in-depth Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series. These programs cover the technical and financial side of clean energy. We also work with educational institutions and companies directly to create training programs that are specific to their needs and schedules.
The Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series is a non-degree diploma from N.C. State University comprised of continuing education programs. The Diploma Series is made up of several workshops that focus on a different renewable technology depending on your interests, but are aimed at providing a comprehensive knowledge base. In order to get a continuing education diploma from N.C. State University’s N.C. Clean Energy Technology Center, a participant will have to complete 120 contact hours through our training programs.
Need a specialized training program for your workplace? Our training team can develop a program tailored to the needs of your company, either through an online portal or live instruction. From readings to hands-on activities, we ensure that our content will efficiently and effectively train your staff.
Registering for a bundled package is the best way to meet your NABCEP requirements and to earn your Renewable Energy Diploma. Not only are you assured of a spot in class, a package allows you to plan your professional development while saving you time and money.
Whether you’re an industry pro or just starting out, we offer online and in-person workshops and programs that range from short, certificate classes to our in-depth Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series. These programs cover the technical and financial side of clean energy.
If you are interested in the policy, technology, and management side of renewable energies, the Certificate in Renewable Energy Management is a 40+ hour stand-alone program that will not only provide a sound foundation of how existing renewable energy technologies work, but also to have a firm grasp of policies and financial options so you can make informed decisions as a manager and businessperson in the renewable energy industry. While this is a stand-alone course, it can also contribute 40 of the 120 contact hours for the Renewable Energy Technologies Diploma Series if taken with other classes.
