Senior Project Manager

Bio

Shelly is a Senior Project Manager at the Center, joining the Clean Transportation Team in 2023. Her work focuses on technologies for more sustainable transportation options and alternative fuels across fleets and equipment. She has conducted case studies on green fleet implementations across North Carolina and researched funding opportunities for clean transportation incentives from Federal and State governments, and NC utilities. Shelly’s work encompasses developing educational content across media, in-person training, regional conferences and national webinars. She has special interest in hydrogen as a fuel.

She has more than 20 years of experience in project management in the government and non-profit sectors, including grant management, software implementation, client relationship management, business development, and executive training and experiential learning. Shelly is a Certified Project Management Professional and has a Master’s in Public Administration and a BS in Communications, both from The University of Georgia. Prior to joining NCCETC she worked in public transit, commuter transportation and for Chambers of Commerce.
