PBS NC’s State of Change: Seeds of Hope Preview Screening and Discussion

April 4 @ 8:45 pm - 10:30 pm

PBS North Carolina, NC Science Festival and The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Proudly Present:

State of Change: Seeds of Hope — Screening and Panel Discussion

HYBRID EVENT

Two ways to join us: online or in person at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences

Please join us in person (or virtually) on Thursday, April 4, at 7 PM, for a special screening of State of Change: Seeds of Hope, followed by a panel discussion with scientists from around the state who will provide an up-close look at climate change issues and answer your questions in-person and via the virtual chat.

PBS North Carolina launched the State of Change project to personalize the impact of climate change, provide details about the science of the challenges, share solutions to combat the issues and develop resiliency to adapt to it.

State of Change: Seeds of Hope comes to PBS NC this April with stories of North Carolinians across the state who have responded to the challenges of climate change in new and innovative ways. This series is produced in partnership with the Pulitzer Center and is part of their nationwide Connected Coastlines reporting initiative.

This season we’ll meet North Carolinians who are adapting to our changing climate in new and inspiring ways. From conserving land and growing foods that’s tolerant of extreme conditions to using farmland to produce both crops and solar energy, these innovators are facing the challenges of climate change with perseverance and ingenuity.
