Misconceptions in Solar: Public Health & Safety

The NC Clean Energy Technology Center’s first “Misconceptions in Solar” webinar focuses on misconceptions relating to solar and public health and safety. Concerns about the local water supply, impact on wildlife, light pollution, and other impacts on the local communities are just a few examples where misconceptions relating to solar installations arise. Our speakers offer their own examples of common misconceptions that they have encountered from various vantage points within the solar industry and how they go about providing factual information to their clients and the public.
