Q4 – Training & Workforce Development
Past Webinars:
Q1 | January 15, 2026 – Solar and Wind and Gas, Oh My!
In this webinar, NCCETC’s Policy & Markets team discuss utilities’ changing capacity needs and provide an outlook for the coming year. Speakers discuss:
- What an Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) is
- The importance of IRPs on a national level
- States that require IRPs
- Trends in IRPs filed during 2025
- Load forecasts
- Impacts of 2025 IRP regulations & policy actions

Q2 | March 5, 2026 – Continuous Onsite Energy Generation for Data Centers
Meeting new data center energy needs can impose large demands on the power grid and lead to rate increases to support investments in new generation. Powering data centers with onsite generation as a primary energy source is an important tool to lower costs, increase energy efficiency and enhance resilience. This webinar, hosted by the DOE Southeast Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) and NCCETC’s CPIE team is informative for end users, utilities and policymakers looking for ways to navigate in these fast times.
