Bio

David Sarkisian is a Principal Policy Analyst at the Center. He joined the Policy and Markets Team in November 2015. David contributes to the 50 States of Solar, 50 States of Grid Modernization, 50 States of Electric Vehicles, and 50 States of Decarbonization reports and the team’s other DSIRE Insight subscription services. He also authors the DSIRE entries for IA, IL, IN, KY, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, OH, and WI. David has managed the policy team’s work on community solar; he served as the Principal Investigator for the Community Solar for the Southeast Project and led the Center’s work on the Solar-Plus for Electric Cooperatives project. He has also worked as a SolSmart advisor. David received his B.A. in public policy from Duke University and completed a J.D. and a Master of Science in Environmental Science degree at Indiana University in Bloomington. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar.
