Bio
Alexandra is the Contracts and Grants Specialist at the Center where she provides grant management and administrative support to help ensure funding is handled effectively and that projects run smoothly from start to finish. She enjoys contributing to the behind-the-scenes work that helps advance clean energy initiatives and supports impactful research.
Before joining the Center, Alexandra worked as a Grant Administrator for the College of Health and Human Sciences at NC Agricultural and Technical State University. While there, she supported faculty and staff in managing sponsored research projects and navigating the complexities of grant requirements and compliance.
She is well versed in working with a variety of funding sources, including NIH, NSF, the Department of Defense, and foundation grants. She is passionate about supporting research teams and helping streamline the grants process so that innovative ideas can move forward and make a meaningful impact.
Alexandra’s academic experience gave her a strong foundation in science and research, while also sparking my interest in how research is funded, managed, and brought to life through collaboration and administrative support.

Bachelor of Science in Animal Science, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University; Master of Engineering in Biotechnology, Texas A&M University.
