Shining a Light on Solar + Storage

With customer-sited distributed energy resources (DERs) set to play a greater role in maintaining grid stability in the years to come, the Smart Energy Consumer Collaborative (SECC) conducted a survey to better understand how American homeowners view these technologies, where they turn for information, who they trust to install systems, what drives their interest and more.

During this 30-minute webinar on Tuesday, July 29 at 1 p.m. (ET), SECC’s President & CEO Nathan Shannon and Marie D’Arrigo, Vice President, Research at The Harris Poll, will provide an overview of the new consumer research findings.

Then, Vincent Potter, Energy Project Manager at NC Clean Energy Technology Center, will share use cases for solar + storage. This will include insights from the Center’s most recent solar research and examples of increasing savings for residential and small commercial customers under certain rate structures as well as adding resiliency for on-site services.
