Deploying Onsite Energy Webinar Series – Policies, Programs, and Funding

Onsite energy encompasses a broad range of technologies that are suitable to serve large
energy loads, including battery storage, combined heat and power, district energy, fuel cells,
geothermal, industrial heat pumps, renewable fuels, solar photovoltaics, solar thermal, thermal
storage, wind power, and others. This three-part webinar series hosted by the Southeast
Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP) will cover benefits of onsite energy,
discuss important policies, programs, and funding to be aware of, and provide lessons from end
users that have deployed onsite energy.
Manufacturers and large energy users as well as individuals that are a part of state energy
offices, local governments, utilities, PUCs, economic development agencies, regional initiatives,
and community-based organizations will benefit from this series covering the following areas:
● Decarbonization Begins Onsite – Knowledge of onsite energy benefits and the
awareness of onsite energy technologies
● Onsite Energy Policies, Programs, and Funding – Insight on important policies, programs
and funding mechanisms and how to navigate the Database of State Incentives for
Renewables and Efficiency
● Deployment Best Practices – Understanding of what makes a successful onsite energy
project and technical assistance and services available from the Onsite Energy TAPs
