Energy That Works Series

The NC Clean Energy Technology Center’s Energy That Works Series is a project supported by the North Carolina State University Sustainability Fund. The project’s goal is to facilitate meaningful dialogue across disciplines about the importance of clean energy and its role in creating a sustainable future, and increase coordination among energy efforts at NC State University.

The project includes a Field Trip Series, Renewable Energy Training Program, a student internship opportunity at NCCETC, and a creation of planning group meetings comprised of students, faculty and staff to support planning and outreach.

ENERGY THAT WORKS CAREER CHATS

The Energy That Works Field Trip Series transitioned to a series of virtual discussions throughout April. Energy That Works Chats are to connect students with professionals in the clean energy and environmental fields. The chats include interactive discussions with speakers sharing their personal academic and work experiences. The audience will also have the opportunity to ask the speaker questions through an online chat.

We invite students from all majors to join the calls and learn about the interdisciplinary careers in energy and environment. University students beyond NC State are welcome to join (please register using your .EDU email address).
