Isaac Panzarella

Bio

Isaac Panzarella is an Associate Director at the Center where he oversees research projects and technical services for projects involving solar PV and other renewable energy technologies, combined heat and power, microgrids, energy storage and energy efficiency. He is also the Director of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Southeast Onsite Energy Technical Assistance Partnership (TAP). Based at NC State, the Southeast Onsite Energy TAP provides support for industrial decarbonization through onsite generation to the eight states of AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC and TN, as well as supporting Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Prior to joining the NCCETC in 2010, Isaac worked as a professional engineering consultant and LEED Certified professional in the private sector, and designed building systems, district energy and distributed generation systems. Isaac has a mechanical engineering degree from NC State and is also a registered professional engineer.
