Interested in a collaborative project using big data and mapping to support energy programs serving low income households? Take 10 minutes to visit the Powering Energy Efficiency & Impacts Framework project ‘story map’. Sponsored by the U.S. Deptarment of Energy and led by the Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments (UCPCOG), the PEEIF project is a collaborative effort of three NC State University partners: the NC Clean Energy Technology Center, the Center for Geospatial Analytics, the System Design Optimization Lab and the NC Sustainable Energy Association, ResiSpeak, Vermont Law School, the NC Justice Center and the University of South Carolina. The geographical focus of the project is on a five county region in northeastern North Carolina served by UCPCOG.
