DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER\nSpring Sessions: Jan. 22-26\, 2024 / March 11-15\, 2024 / June 17-21\, 2024 \nLength: 40 Course Hours / 5 Days \nCourse Cost: $1\,199* \nPrerequisites: There are no prerequisites to take this course. \nCourse Description: The Fundamentals of Solar PV Design and Installation (FSPV) course covers the fundamentals of design and installation of photovoltaic systems. The 40-hour course is based on NABCEP’s Learning Objectives for NABCEP PV Associate.  A hands-on day installing a fully integrated grid-tied PV system pulls together the classroom knowledge and rounds out the five-day\, in-person workshop. An optional hands-on installation day is available to take after completing the online FSPV course. \nNABCEP PV Associate Exam: You are eligible to sit for the NABCEP PV Associate Exam after completing FSPV.  Please note this is not NABCEP certification\, it is simply an indicator of knowledge gained which allows you to sit for the NABCEP Associate Exam. This training counts toward the entry level educational requirement (if other requirements are met) on the journey to becoming a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional. \n*Registration fee includes lunch\, parking\, a textbook\, and a notebook! \n*Payment plans are available.

This year we will be hosting two demonstration days: \n\n\nMonday\, March 18\, 2024 at the NC Highway Patrol Training & Driving Facility \n\n10 a.m.-1 p.m. OR 1 -4 p.m.\n380 E. Tryon Rd.\, Raleigh\, NC 27610\n\n\nTuesday\, March 19\, 2024 at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds \n\n10 a.m.-1 p.m. OR 1 -4 p.m.\n421 W. Twenty-Seventh St.\, Winston-Salem\, NC 27105\n\n\n\n\n\nExecutive Order 80 calls for the State of North Carolina to protect its environment while growing clean energy technologies. Executive Order 246 updates North Carolina’s economy-wide carbon reduction emissions goals to align with climate science\, reduce pollution\, create good jobs and protect communities. EO 246 strengthens North Carolina’s commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions\, increasing the statewide goal to a 50% reduction from 2005 levels by 2030 and achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions as soon as possible\, no later than 2050. \nIn support of Executive Orders 80\, 246 & 271\, NCCETC is hosting Clean Transportation Demonstration Days to give government entities across North Carolina information and experience with clean transportation technologies. The day will consist of classroom instruction with real-world case study results\, hands-on static review\, networking\, and a closed-course ride & drive for those who wish to participate. Classroom instruction will include alternative fuel options\, telematics and other new technologies\, safety\, and more. There will be a diverse display of vehicles such as electric and alt-fuel vehicles\, buses\, police vehicles\, and more. \n\nTo help minimize wait times during ride & drives\, we are offering two sessions on each day to allow more people to participate in the Demonstration Days. You may choose to attend in the morning from 10 am to 1 pm or in the afternoon from 1 pm to 4 pm.
