SUMMARY:5 Reasons Why Your Organization Can Benefit from Electric Tractors
DESCRIPTION:Organizations throughout the country are looking for ways to reduce their emissions\, and what better way to start than with their tractor equipment?  For over 100 years\, tractors have remained largely unchanged. As a result\, operators face many of the same challenges today as they did a century ago\, including noise and air pollution\, volatility of fuel costs\, frequent downtime\, and maintenance. What if all these challenges could be solved with one simple solution—an electric tractor? \nElectric tractors integrate seamlessly with your existing sustainability initiatives by offering fleet operators cleaner\, quieter\, and more reliable operations while reducing their carbon footprint. Join us to learn how your organization can benefit from electric tractors.  Please join us on Tuesday\, October 18th from 2:00p-3:00p EDT for a product feature webinar with Solectrac.  In this webinar\, Solectrac will: \n\nExplore how electric tractors are decarbonizing off-road fleets and review current and future product offerings.\nUncover unique performance benefits that only electric tractors can provide including the advantage of battery weight and instant torque.\nDemonstrate how electric tractors offer many advantages compared to traditional tractors including zero emissions\, no idling\, and reduced noise.\nReview what organizations and applications electric tractors are well suited for and how operations around people and animals demonstrate your commitment to the community.\nDiscover what today’s electric tractors cost and how they can lower the total cost of ownership (TCO) as compared to traditional diesel tractors.\n\nREGISTER NOW

SUMMARY:The Community Solar Landscape in the Southeast
DESCRIPTION:Community Solar programs can offer benefits to utility customers that will not or cannot install solar for themselves. This can be especially true for lower-income households that tend to pay a larger proportion of household income for energy than others.\nAs part of an American Rescue Plan Act project in 2022 with the NC Department of Environmental Quality\, the NC Clean Energy Technology Center conducted research on community solar programs designed to benefit lower-income households. The Center developed models and tools for community solar best practices to increase benefits that can be shared between the utilities and customers to provide greater annual cost savings.
