SUMMARY:Renewable Energy Markets
DESCRIPTION:LEARN MORE AND REGISTER\nRenewable Energy Markets (REM)™ is the clean energy industry’s most important annual conference focused on the states\, businesses\, organizations\, and households that choose clean\, renewable electricity every day. \nSince 1996\, REM™ has been the leading conference for the clean energy marketplace and is attended by leaders from federal and state governments\, large corporate purchasers\, the nation’s leading utilities and electricity generators\, and marketers from around the world. This year’s 30th-anniversary conference will be held September 3–5 at the Hilton Americas-Houston. \nSenior Policy Analyst\, Rebekah de la Mora will be speaking in the session “Filling the Policy Gaps: How States Are Driving Clean Energy Policy”.  As clean energy policies continue to develop\, states are playing a critical role in shaping the future of decarbonization. This panel will explore how states are adapting renewable and clean energy standards (RPS/CES)\, adjusting utility requirements\, and implementing IRA incentives. Experts will discuss the impact of Treasury’s finalized tax credits\, the rollout of Solar for All and other rebate programs\, and how states are addressing challenges related to tariffs and regulatory developments. The discussion will examine the broader implications of state-led action and what it means for the future of energy policy.
