SUMMARY:Duke Corporate Education Global Immersion Program for South Africa's Energy & Water Sector Education Training Authority
DESCRIPTION:As part of the Duke Corporate Education Global Immersion program taking place June 3-7\, approximately 40 women business executives from South Africa will be visiting NCCETC and the FREEDM Center on Friday\, June 7th from 1:30pm – 2:45 pm. \nThe participants are part of an executive education program sponsored by the Energy & Water Sector Education Training Authority (EWSETA)\, a South African “skills development authority serving the energy and water sectors.” The learning journey builds women leadership in the renewable energy space. The program intends to create a pipeline of female executives with leadership capabilities to fill the current and future gaps in C-suites and Boards on the African continent and to leave an indelible mark by women leaders in renewable energy. \nNCCETC Policy Analysts Emily Apadula\, Rebekah de la Mora\, and Vincent Potter will be giving a presentation introducing the Center and DSIRE\, followed by a tour of the FREEDM Center.
