SUMMARY:REPD: Renewable Energy Project Development
DESCRIPTION:The goal of this online survey course is to provide a sound foundation regarding existing renewable energy technology applications\, solar fundamentals\, and the business aspects of project development. Additionally\, the course will delve into the policies that currently dictate the market\, the financial models involved in funding a project\, and what considerations need to be made when developing a project. \nThis eleven-week course includes live and pre-recorded webinars and assignments completed virtually. SUMMARY:Public Interest Environmental Law Conference
DESCRIPTION:For the past 44 years\, over 5\,000 concerned people from across the globe have come together in Eugene for the oldest and largest public interest environmental law conference in the world. Land Air Water\, a wholly volunteer student group at the University of Oregon School of Law\, hosts the event. The Conference attracts activists\, advocates\, attorneys\, scientists\, government officials\, and concerned citizens together to share information and strategies that will more effectively further the goals of environmental and social justice. It puts ideas into action\, sparks renewed commitment to the protection of the environment across borders\, and has inspired the creation of public interest environmental and human rights organizations. \nLEARN MORE & REGISTER \nSenior Policy Analyst Rebekah de la Mora will be speaking at this event.
