Timely Topics Lunch – NC’s Energy Future

The Environment Committee of League of Women Voters of Wake County presents this Timely Topics Lunch event featuring a panel of speakers discussing North Carolina’s current and projected energy needs, the challenge of meeting those needs, and the strategies that will help us to prepare for the future, including opportunities to invest in clean and renewable energy sources.

The panel will address this complex and vitally important topic from a range of perspectives. Speakers include Will Scott, Energy Policy Analyst for North Carolina Conservation Network, and Steve Kalland, Executive Director of NCSU’s NC Clean Energy Technology Center, and Katherine Kollins of the Southeastern Wind Coalition. League members, their families and friends, and interested community members are all welcome to attend this event.
