SUMMARY:CFAT 2020 Funding Opportunity Information Session
DESCRIPTION:The NC Clean Energy Technology Center (NCCETC) has an open call for projects through the Clean Fuel Advanced Technology (CFAT) Project on January 8\, 2020. The application deadline for this new round of funding is March 13\, 2020. The Federal fiscal year 2020 $1.4 million initiative\, focused on reducing transportation-related emissions\, is supported with federal Congestion Mitigation Air Quality funding through the NC Department of Transportation. This will likely be the only solicitation for 2020. \nThere will be a CFAT 2020 Round 1 Informational Webinar from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. January 13\, 2020. The free webinar will present an overview of eligible projects and have Q&A to assist with application submission. On the final day\, you will pitch your prototype to judges from the community and local companies. Prizes include: $2\,000 to the winning team\, $1\,000 to the runner up team and $500 to the third place team. Plus\, there are prizes for best use of 3D design.
