DESCRIPTION:This one day course introduces participants to the heart of PV market success. The NC Clean Energy Technology Center maintains the Database of State Incentives for Renewable energy (DSIRE) for the entire nation. DSIRE is the “go to” resource for all renewable energy policy and incentives driving their respective markets. During the first half of this one day course\, our in-house DSIRE staff and partners will discuss local\, utility\, state and federal policy and incentives fostering solar implementation. The second portion of the day will model financial scenarios and considerations for solar projects. \nPlease register the name of the person taking the course. SUMMARY:Online REPV: Fundamentals of PV Design and Installation
DESCRIPTION:Online REPV is the online equivalent of REPV: Fundamentals of PV Design and Installation without the hands-on installation day and with added schedule flexibility. There are recorded lectures and live Q&As every week along with quizzes and assignments. There is also an optional hands-on PV lab that can be taken for an additional $299. \nSuccessfully completing the 40-hour REPVO course qualifies you to sit for the optional NABCEP PV Associate Exam. There will be an additional fee of $150 for the exam. You will receive more information about NABCEP and the exam in class. SUMMARY:Southeast Clean Power Summit 2019
DESCRIPTION:EUCI’s 8th annual Clean Power Summit is the key event to learn about what’s happening and what the outlook is for renewable energy developments in the SE. It will feature utilities\, project developers and industry experts discussing the most current information and what it’s likely to mean for stakeholders in the region. \nNCCETC’s Senior Policy Analyst Achyut Shrestha will be speaking on Community Solar Programs:  Lessons in Implementation and Contracting. The presentation will provide a case study of a community solar with storage program at the Fayetteville Public Works Commission in North Carolina. There is an increasing interest in Community Solar programs in the Southeast. Legislative mandates are spurring some programs to be created\, while some utilities are setting up programs independently. Electric utilities interested in adopting a community solar program will benefit from the lessons in program implementation and contracting provided by the case study. We will also touch on the means by which utilities credit participants for the electricity generated\, including net metering and recently developed alternatives.

SUMMARY:Clean Energy Plan Development Workshop
