SUMMARY:Southeast Renewable Energy Summit
DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE SUMMIT\n\nMeet In-Person the Utilities\, Corporates and Other Market Players Who Are Driving the Renewable Buildout in the Southeast\nMajor utility and corporate commitments to reduce carbon emissions are driving extraordinary demands for growth in renewable energy procurements throughout the Southeast. Plus\, this already frothy market seems poised for a major post-Pandemic surge due to the expansion of both federal and state decarbonization policies as well as the planned introduction of the Southeast Energy Exchange Market. \nHowever\, the past year has introduced new challenges to those looking to develop renewable energy projects in the Southeast. The Texas Freeze and other extreme weather events have raised concerns about the potential vulnerabilities of many projects\, while the growth of solar itself is driving concerns about reliability in the energy transition. How will utilities incorporate their clean energy commitments into their IRPs\, and will new types of deals drive corporate procurement strategies? What roles will both short-duration and long-duration storage play in assuring reliability in the energy transition? How will renewable developers deal with the lingering effects of the pandemic on project costs\, and what strategies will be effective to position their projects and take advantage of new capital sources entering the market? \nThe 6th Annual Southeast Renewable Energy Summit is the event where the entire Southeast renewable energy community will gather in person to get the latest answers to these questions and to hear from the key players involved. It is your best chance to tap into the regulatory landscape\, identify the top markets and to stay on top of where the next RFPs are going to come from. \nSave 10% on registration by registering with our code: SER10
