DESCRIPTION:The goal of this online survey course is to provide a sound foundation regarding existing renewable energy technology applications\, solar fundamentals\, and the business aspects of project development. Additionally\, the course will delve into the policies that currently dictate the market\, the financial models involved in funding a project\, and what considerations need to be made when developing a project. \nThis eleven-week course includes live and pre-recorded webinars and assignments completed virtually. DESCRIPTION:Let’s come together as a community to celebrate the beauty and promise of our local environment and the planet. Every year\, communities worldwide uplift Earth Day to mark the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970. It reminds us all to do what we can\, in ways small and significant\, to restore\, conserve and protect our environment. \nThe Sierra Club’s Potomac River Group will have a few electric vehicles (EVs) on display and the owners will be available to answer questions. It is a great opportunity to learn from real experience. There will be plenty of information on EVs\, home electrification\, and the Sierra Club. There is only room to display about 3 EVs.
